This innovative program extends our traditional <b> <a href="academics/grad/ma_cs">MA in Computer Science</a></b> with a 4 course sequence in Entrepreneurism in which the students develop prototype software for a new IT business and create a business plan to support their software.</p> <p>This is also the second year of our <b><a href="academics/grad/ma_cl">MA in Computational Linguistics</a></b> which has accepted 10 students for this Fall. In addition the curriculum provides a stimulating and useful preparation for a number of related fields such as law, medicine and economics. Computer Science is by its nature interdisciplinary because much of the research in this field is driven by the numerous and diverse applications of computer technology. Accordingly, the department offers interdisciplinary courses within the department (such as Bioinformatics and Internet & Society) as well as providing Computer Science elective credit for a wide variety of courses offered in other departments.
