As is pretty clear from the map above, I took a round-about route from
Crawford Notch to Pinkham Notch. The Crawford Path was beautiful (since
the weather was nice) but busy. The Dry River Trail was extremely quiet
but poorly maintained. I actually didn't pass anyone on the trail while
I was on the Dry River Trail, the Isolation Trail, and the Davis Trail.
This was an unexpected surprise. Actually, the entire time that I spent
in the Dry River Wilderness Area (about 9 miles of trail), I passed no one.
Once I got beyond Gulf Peak I started passing people again.
