Course Description
This course focuses on corpus linguistics, the computational study of any naturally occurring fragment of language. Corpus linguistics is increasingly important in the development and evaluation of both theoretical and computational models of linguistic behavior, and is a central component of key computer science domains like data mining, information extraction, and machine learning.
