Food:
The guest services directory lists places to eat.
The
Shallow Shaft Restaurant
is also recommended
(1/2 mile up the Canyon road - ask at the front desk about a ride).
There is a grocery store at the Snowbird Center.
Room service is also available.
Internet:
Wireless internet connection is available in rooms of the Cliff Lodge;
contact guest services for more information.
Skiing:
The Cliff Lodge is located at the Snowbird Ski Resort;
tickets can be purchased at Level 1 of the Cliff Lodge or at the Snowbird Center.
The Alta Ski Area is about 1/2 mile up the canyon road,
and a ticket can be purchased that is good for both areas.
One can ski between the areas, or use the bus.
Beginner Skiers:
The little chair lift outside the Cliff Lodge is free.
Skis can be rented at Level 1 of the Cliff Lodge.
The Albion area at Alta offers great beginner skiing;
it is the second bus stop entrance at Alta when coming from Snowbird.
Cross Country Skiing:
Inquire at the front desk and at the Albion area at Alta.
Ice Skating:
There is an outdoor ice skating rink off Level 1 (skates can be rented).
Snow Tubing:
Outside the Cliff parking structure (tubes can be rented).
Swimming and Jacuzzi:
There is an outdoor pool and jacuzzi off Level 3.
Cliff Spa:
Exercise equipment, massages, aerobics, pool on the roof, etc.
There may be an additional fee to use the spa facilities - ask at the front desk.
Tram Rides:
Single ride tickets are available for non-skiers to enjoy the spectacular view.
Shopping:
Your hotel room guest services directory lists shops in the Snowbird Complex.
Salt Lake City:
Can be reached by public bus from Snowbird.
A tour of the central Temple Complex is recommended.
The zoo is fun for kids.
Day Care:
Both Snowbird and Alta have daycare centers.
