Looking to the future

• MCPP = Information of the people, by the people, and for the people
  Hence the democratization of information production
• MCPP websites have developed groupware that enhances collaboration and helps users assess and enhance information quality (e.g. mediawiki code that runs wikipedia).
• MCPP websites are, by their nature, not authoritative, and are forcing us to rethink our assessment of information quality.
• MCPP provides another mode of production for information goods (in addition ot the firm and market modes)
• MCPP projects are all young and rapidly evolving.
• The next decade will be exciting!!
