I just finished the Computer Science PhD program at Brandeis University
I have been studying computer learning and evolutionary computation. Learning is the Holy Grail of AI. ¹
I have two main research projects:
- Computer Evolution of Buildable Objects
and
- Man-Machine Coevolution
My advisor is Jordan Pollack
Which makes me a member of the Demo Lab
Other things I have worked on while at Brandeis...
- You can Play Backgammon with Blair and Pollack's program - it learned playing with itself.
  I did the web interface with Jack Laurence.
- Here's a quicktime video (7mb) of Sortbot, a Lego robot arm that classifies blocks by color.
- This is the paper on complexity I wrote for Marty Cohn's Information Theory course. (postscript version available)
- Notes on quantum cryptography (from CS171a)
- This pictures are from RoboCup 97 where I participated as a proud member of Spirit of Bolivia, the Ullanta Performance Robotics team.

I got my degree in pure mathematics at the University of Buenos Aires

This is the Fine Chemistry Information System I made when working for Dr. Otilia Vainstok. (in spanish also).
I worked for Argentina's government at the Ministry of Economy and Public Works, at the Secretary for Economy Programming , National Direction of Public Investment and Project Financing.
I worked in the economic evaluation of the Argentina-Uruguay Bridge for the Bi-National Commission.
