In cooperation with the Stanford University Conference office and
AAAI, GP-96 is offering housing at Stanford University for the duration of
the conference.  The housing package includes meals and housekeeping
service daily Monday through Friday.  Housing will be from Saturday night,
July 27, 1996 through Tuesday night, July 30, 1996.  Meals begin with
Sunday breakfast and end with Wednesday breakfast.  There will be no
scheduled dinner on Monday night, the night of the Opening Reception.

        Single room rate with meals:    $363.50/person
        Shared room rate with meals:    $310.50/person

Early Arrivals and Stayovers:  If you wish to arrive early or stay late,
you may pay for additional nights in lodging by the night.  Meals may not
be available for this extra time.  The cost per night of extra housing is:

        Single room rate (no meals)     $47.25/person/night
        Shared room rate (no meals)     $34.00/person/night

You can only pay for additional nights in conjunction with the housing
package.  In order to stay on campus, you must purchase the package.  There
are no refunds for shorter stays or missed meals.

Stanford University requires a $65 key deposit for each set of key(s)
issued.  This deposit is refundable as long as the key(s) are returned to
the Field Office by check-out time.  This deposit is payable to Stanford at
check-in time and is payable by Mastercard, Visa, check or cash.

AAAI, 445 Burgess Drive, Menlo Park, CA  94025.  Payment can be made by
check, Mastercard, Visa or American Express.  Please make your check
payable to AAAI.  Refund requests must be made in writing.  The deadline
for refund requests is June 28, 1996.  A $50 processing fee will be
assessed for all refunds.
