Since finishing my Ph.D. (summer '02) I have moved to the West Coast and I am now working in the Evolvable Systems Group at NASA Ames Research Centre at Moffett Field, California. At NASA I'm continuing my work in evolutionary design and I'm still interested in creating artificially intelligent systems. Here is my new web page.
Here at Brandeis University I was working with Jordan Pollack in the DEMO Lab. For my dissertation I investigated generative representations and developed a system for automatically creating heirarchies of re-used modules for building tables, locomoting creatures, and other designs.
