This structure represents all of the possible information which can be returned from a stat syscall which is not contained in the FileStat structure. This information is not necessarily platform independent, and may have different meanings or no meaning at all on some platforms.

Fields

device

The ID of the device containing the file.

inode

The file serial number.

rdev

The device ID.

The number of hard links to this file.

uid

The user ID of the file.

gid

The group ID of the file.

blksize

The optimal block size for I/O.

blocks

The blocks allocated for this file.

flags

User-defined flags for the file.

gen

The file generation number.
